Ross and Heather Newkirk bring to the table a wealth of knowledge and information when it comes to holistic health. In their own personal experiences as well as their experiences together they each have the walk to back up their talk! Helping people has always been a natural way of life for them both. They are committed and dedicated to the work they do, are motivated by the changes they have seen in their own life, and are passionate about sharing their results with others.

Over the last four years Heather’s primary focus has been raising their son as a stay-at-home mom. Overview
As a whole, society is in desperate need of change. For a long time the majority of humanity has been asleep. People have become increasingly unhappy and unsatisfied with their lives. The average person is spending a lot of money to feel better and to get healthy, yet the opposite has occurred. Their health has diminished, they have huge medical bills, and they are not being healthfully sustained by the traditional healthcare system.
The good news is there is an awakening occuring within society and people have become hungry for change. People know they want something different, they just don't know what that is.
Awaken is here to meet that need by providing the necessary tools and support that will create the positive change people are looking for. Picture a wholeness center focused entirely on empowering people by teaching and showing them how to unlock their amazing self-healing abilities, intuitive and perceptive abilities. Imagine people that can heal themselves! This is huge!
When people are free from disease and depression and their health has been restored, they are better able to express and access their innate abilities and live out more of their passion and purpose. People that turn on their innate abilities quickly become aware of how interconnected we all are. They begin treating themselves and others more like the precious beings they are. People become conscious of not only what they put in or on their bodies, but also their own inner and outer dialogue. Treating themselves and others with kindness and respect, this is how the world changes.
None of this is out of grasp. It is all very real. It just takes the right tools and support structure to bring these ideas and concepts together to make it a reality. This is why we are creating this center. We are here to tie all the pieces together to make practical sense of how to live an awake, healthy, empowered, and purposeful life.
We have the combined knowledge, cutting edge technologies, tools, drive, and purity of heart to make this center a reality. Just since the early incubation of the idea behind Awaken, we have had many people step forward saying how they would love to be part of the Awaken team. Many people have specifically stated to us how they would be willing to relocate to be a part of the center. This shows the growing support and movement we are already receiving. We want to help people discover how truly amazing they are and move out of the mode of survival to one of thriving!

The perfect property we found and would like to purchase for Awaken is a 54,000 square foot building
on 35 acres in the heart of South Kingstown, Rhode Island.
Education
Education is the thread that ties together everything we do at our center. By participating in our various classes, retreats, and lectures, as well as exploring our various technologies, modalities, and practitioners, our clients will begin to grasp and start to connect their own pieces of the puzzle to see how everything around us is all interconnected and how those various connections affect one another. Education is key to inspiring change from within.
We will offer weekend classes and lectures to the general public, as well as 1-3 week retreat programs for guests, in order to allow our clients to find their way to complete health, peace, and well-being.
Technologies
We plan to include a Quantum Flo unit, Cohere Meditation Mat, and Core Harmonizer in our offerings. Imagine these technologies and their popularity and affect on raising consciousness at a center where on average 80,000 people drive by a day!

Quantum Flo Technology
A highly-efficient technology has been created for alleviating stress in people, based upon fundamental Russian discoveries in physics and related technology representing two decades of scientific research. An individual session averages 35 minutes, during which time the client reclines within the Flo unit surrounded by a harmonious field of information that is projected within it. The client emerges feeling renewed and energized.
Cohere Meditation Mat Technology
The Cohere™ Meditation Mat is more than a meditation tool. The Cohere™ mat assists in elevating the body's physical frequency to more closely match one's own unique energetic blueprint of the ideal self. Core Harmonizer Technology
The Core Harmonizer TM uses music, nested geometries and specific materials to create a coherent and harmonious information field. The music which comes from an internal speaker located in the base of the unit resonates up through the geometric chamber and out through the top and sides of the Core Harmonizer creating a peaceful environment.
Services
As a part of helping our clients to select the best practices that work for their own personal growth and Mind, Body, Spirit development, we will offer specific services that will be offered on a regular basis. We have selected these services based on the success of each one to specifically address clearing old patterns, beliefs, and emotions at a cellular level (TRE and Body & Emotion Code), moving energy through the body to form new patterns (Reiki and Reflexology), and allowing the body to maintain a relaxed state (Massage and Aromatherapy). Reiki

When you prepare and make food with Love - it tastes better!
An important aspect of our center will be organic, plant-based food that nourishes the body because it has the least amount of processing - just the way nature intended! Our restaurant will feature cafe-style seating for breakfast and lunch in our large, inspired-by-nature dining room. We will serve a more traditional sit down style dinner in the evening.
Juice Bar
Our juice bar will offer freshly-squeezed juices all made with organic fruits and vegetables, with optional sweeteners such as honey and maple sugar. We will also offer pre-packaged juices and an assortment of homemade bakery and snack items for people who need a quick pick-me-up after their yoga class or wellness session!
Fitness Center
Our Green Gym will synergistically benefit the personal fitness goals of our clients and the electrical requirements of the center. When in use, the cardio equipment that we will be using actually generates electricity for the facility rather than consumes it! That's right! People's workouts will actually produce green energy for our center creating a greener environment with every step made!
Yoga Studio
Our Yoga Studio will be one large room that can be divided into two smaller rooms if needed. It has large windows that allow for ample natural light from the sun. Our Yoga classes will be offered as part of our retreat packages, as well as to the general public.
Sauna
We will have sauna rooms on each floor of our classic accommodations building. These two floors are directly above the fitness center and yoga studio. Clients and members will be able to relax and detox after their workouts.
Nature
Connections
Nature is at the heart of everything we do. We have plans to create several hiking trails throughout the perimeter of the property. We will be adding a labyrinth, "earthing paths", and a fire pit. The interior courtyard will be home to a new waterscape with a waterfall and a meandering stream. Our visitors will have ample opportunities to connect to all of the elements of nature both outdoors and inside. Our interior decor will be nature-inspired to create a calm and peaceful atmosphere for all who visit.
Store
Near the front lobby of our center will be a store with items that have been specifically selected to support a person's personal journey. We will offer everything from basic toiletries for our travelers to juicers for our juice enthusiasts to products to recreate a peaceful environment at home. We will also carry a selection of yoga mats, gemstones and crystals, books, and essential oils, as well as unique gifts.
Library
In a location just off our living room, there is a sun-filled room with built-in shelves that overlooks the interior courtyard. It is the perfect room for an in-house library. Our library will be a quiet place to read a large selection of cutting-edge and informative books that help explain many of the concepts that we will be teaching at our center. Because many of these books are hard to come by, we ask that our clients and guest enjoy reading them onsite.

Awaken Wholeness Center can accommodate up to 100 Guests at full capacity.

There will be two large rooms that each hold 10 built-in bunk beds for a total of 40 guests. Each room is connected to a large bathroom with multiple sinks, stalls, and showers.
CLASSIC

There will be a total of 28 Classic Rooms. Twelve rooms will have a single twin bed. Twelve rooms will have two single twin beds. Four rooms will each have a queen bed. All rooms share hallway bath facilities. There are also two Mini-Nook rooms in the Classic Wing that each have a twin bed with their own private baths.

There will be a total of 7 Suites. Three will have King beds and Four will have Queen beds. All rooms have their own private bathroom.

Advisors
Dr. Jay Korsen
Dr. Jay Korsen is a chiropractor in private practice since 1991. He is a graduate of Stony Brook University in New York and Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA and holds a bachelor’s degree in biological sciences as well as a doctorate of chiropractic. While at Palmer College, he did research on how the chiropractic adjustment affects tumor necrosis factor levels and the immune system in the human body. Dr. Korsen is the state representative for the International Chiropractic Association and is a lifetime member of that organization.
Dr. Jay is the author of two 365 day Christian devotionals titled Manna For The Spirit and Another Helping Of Manna. He also authored three chiropractic text books titled Chiropractic Cash Only Practice, Vol. I and Vol. II as well as Reinvented Chiropractic Cash Only Practice which were designed to help private practice doctors serve their patients without having the health insurance companies interfere with the doctor patient relationship. Dr. Korsen has lectured extensively at chiropractic conferences and colleges and was an early pioneer of the cash practice model with an emphasis on serving patients for the sake of serving, loving for the sake of loving and giving for the sake of giving so that others can live their lives more abundantly.
Marc Newkirk
Marc Newkirk has spent five decades at the forefront of scientific discovery and technological innovation. Educated as a materials engineer at Brown University, he is a prolific inventor, named on more than a hundred U.S. and nine hundred foreign issued patents. He has founded or co-founded half a dozen businesses in the field of advanced materials based upon those innovations, and led the creation of unique technologies for destressing people and raising individual consciousness. The resulting endeavors have spanned wide technical disciplines, and included aerospace, defense, electronics, automotive, semiconductor manufacturing, and human re-empowerment enterprises.
He has been a recipient of medals awarded by Brown University and The Franklin Institute, the Application to Practice Award of the Minerals, Metals and Materials Society, and the Real Advances in Materials Award of the National Association for Science, Technology and Society. He was elected to the U.S. National Academy of Engineering in 1997. In 2009 he led the establishment of Lightfield Foundation, a human re-empowerment enterprise based upon cutting edge discoveries in hyperdimensional physics and fundamental causality.
Nicole Perron
Nicole is deeply rooted in Earth-based Spirituality with a passion for understanding our world, both the seen and unseen, from a scientific perspective. As a natural intuitive and “see-er”, she is inspired in her work to help others bridge these connections within their own awareness. She has extensive business experience in management, marketing & communications, digital graphics and Internet technologies, in several industries; Equine, Medical Laboratory Analysis, and Clinical Nutrition. She has a BS degree in Animal Science from the University of Massachusetts, is a QHHT practitioner, an ordained Priestess and graduate of the Wisdom School of Sophia and is currently working toward her post-graduate certification as a Shamanic Healer.
Marika Ray
Marika Ray, has a bachelor’s degree in both Communications and English. She has an extensive background in and has worked in advertising agencies and marketing departments for a major magazine and a major newspaper in West Coast markets. She specialized in copy-writing, marketing and promotion as well as event coordinating. During that time she worked on major events that took massive amounts of coordinating. The largest event she coordinated was a 12k race, which at the time was the second largest 12k race in US and had over 12,000 participants and 400 volunteers. She was responsible for a major part of the planning and overseeing all the details. Also during her career she has worked in and around hundreds of non-profit foundations, who were all doing work to improve their local communities. As a result she has a keen sense of community building and a rare ability to put most people at ease to ensure that projects and events flow smoothly and successfully.
Later in her career she learned how to build websites for holistic health practitioners which was more in alignment with her real love and passion for alternative health and wellness. Subsequently, she became involved with a non-profit foundation on the East Coast where she worked for six years as a project coordinator, a volunteer, and a community builder by creating events to help clients connect through their similar interests, their common values and their love of connecting to like-minded people. Today she has her own business and is a spiritual life coach helping individuals sort through and resolve personal issues in their lives.

What will the focus of the Center be?
Our focus will be on empowering people! We will provide our clients with new lifestyle options that will take them from survival mode to a mode in which they can thrive. We will help our clients to transition away from the Standard American Diet (SAD), release deep-rooted emotional issues and traumas, provide empowering perspectives and offer the tools to create and maintain a lifestyle that enables a person to feel fulfilled, joyful and a sense of overall well-being. The unique, and in some cases one-of-a-kind, modalities that we plan to offer will aid in cultivating new abilities that many people have never experienced before, such as self-healing abilities, perceptive abilities and intuitive abilities. Fears, traumas, anger, depression, and physical hindrances will be free to fade away, and our clients will transition to the best version of themselves so that they can feel strong, healthy, alert and awake.
What kind of scale are we talking about?
The Center will employ around 30+ people. It will cost ten million dollars to acquire and fully set up the 54,000 square foot facility and its surrounding 35 acres. This includes some renovations and installations, purchasing various modalities and technologies, and setting up the restaurant, kitchen, juice bar, fitness center, store, in-house library, overnight accommodations, handicap accommodations, as well as interior paint, marketing budget, and all outdoor renovations including landscaping, adding hiking trails, resurfacing the parking lot, redoing the main entrance road, and adding stone work at the front entrance that is a wider and more visually appealing. It also allows for startup reserve capital. When we look at all of the various aspects of the Center once it is up and running, we will realistically be able to serve and empower tens of thousands of people each year.
Where will the Center be located?
We have found a wonderful location that is set on 35 beautiful acres located in South Kingstown, RI. The facility is set back from a major highway which provides tranquility, yet offers perfect exposure where 80,000+ people drive by its entrance daily.
Are people ready for a Center like this?
Absolutely! People are awakening and ready for change. Many have been struggling and desperately seeking a lifestyle that will lead them away from the downward spiral that they have been experiencing and toward the light. Many feel totally overwhelmed with health issues and life in general. The good news is that the majority of these struggles can be overcome. Given the proper tools and support, one can transition to a life full of freedom and new opportunities.

Will you offer retreats?
Yes! We will be offering 1-3 week long retreats that will allow guests to immerse themselves in a new transformational lifestyle. Retreat clients will have full access to the entire center along with an additional private space designed specifically to be a quiet haven.
What will the accommodations be like?
We will offer four types of accommodations. We will have private rooms with shared bathrooms, a couple of private rooms with private bathrooms, an upscale European hostel-style arrangement with shared bath, and several large suites to accommodate families and those who seek a more luxurious experience.
What will the Restaurant be like?
We will offer healthy, high-quality, plant-based meals using organic and local ingredients free of white refined sugar. Our meals and smoothies will be made in-house and minimally processed. Our goal is to offer healthy food that supports a continuing journey to health and wellness. Our food will always be made with Love - both your body and taste buds will know the difference!
How much will it cost to attend?
Our goal is affordability. We want our Center to be accessible to as many people as possible. We recognize that the world changes one person at a time, and the more people that have access to the tools, classes and education, the more people will be empowered. We will routinely offer free lectures and education to the public. Every person is important to us, and we will strive to make this Center available to as many people as possible.

What are you currently working on?
We are now primarily finishing up the extensive business plan. We are also working on getting the necessary ten million dollar funding to bring about the creation of the center. We are connecting with like-minded individuals that would love to be a part of the center. We are doing whatever we can to help make this center a reality!
What is the time frame?
We feel that the renovations, permits, training, curriculum, and setup will take us approximately 10-12 months to complete, once funds become available to purchase the property.
